**Annotation Requirements: Plot Summary (significant events that occur), Characterization (character traits/personality of the characters), Make Connections- (Text-to-text, text-to-self, text-to-world), Personal Reactions (anything that you have an emotion about), and Significant Questions (do not do yes or no questions or questions that may be answered by the end of the chapter).

  1. You will need your ROTHMC novel, your iPad/Chromebook, and a pen
  2. Today, you will work on your Vocabulary Unit 3 packet. Make sure you annotate for Main Ideas. You will also work on a grammar sheet- the basic sentence drill 2
  3. Also Today, you will respond to the Goodreads prompt. Click here for the prompt: Goodreads Prompts 2019-2020
  4. For Wednesday and Thursday, you will have the class periods to finish the last two chapters of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. Be sure to annotate for the requirements listed on the board or below. You will be turning in your Book annotations on Monday, so be prepared. I will give you a book annotation evaluation sheet on Friday when I return.
  5. If you finish the novel, be sure to work complete your annotations,  and you may read for your independent reading. You will have a Goodreads Monday.
