Agenda-
- Take out your ROTHMC novel and a pen
- We will bring back grammar Tuesday next week. Today we are going to practice writing and discuss the differences between a summary, a response, and analysis- called SRA. Click here for the SRA slideshow: Summary, Response, Analysis 2019
- Begin your SRA on chapter 6 (you will have all class period tomorrow to work on your SRA)
**Annotation Requirements: Plot Summary (significant events that occur), Characterization (character traits/personality of the characters), Make Connections- (Text-to-text, text-to-self, text-to-world), Personal Reactions (anything that you have an emotion about), and Significant Questions (do not do yes or no questions or questions that may be answered by the end of the chapter).
Homework-
Vocabulary Unit 2 Quiz on Friday
Read and annotate chapter 7 of ROTHMC due Thursday. Book Club on Thursday on chapters 6-7. The Host must bring 4 discussion questions. The guess must bring 2 discussion questions.
Read 40+ pages, due every Monday, of your Independent Reading.
