Agenda/Homework 3/3

**** UPDATE_ Hi Kiddos,

I am still out today for jury duty. I’m not sure if I’ll be back tomorrow or not. But, as I said yesterday, I will be communicating with you on this website to give you instructions, slideshows, due dates, etc. I expect you to follow all of the instructions.

If you have questions, you may email me and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.  Be good, be respectful, be kind.

-Ms. Gonzalez

Agenda-

  1. Take out your writer’s notebook, a pen, your conjunctions handout from last week.
  2. Grammar Tuesday- Conjunctions drill 2 (look back at the drill from last week to help you)
  3. Present your group Persuasive Scenarios with two other groups. You may choose any group in class, but you must take notes on their presentation in your writer’s notebook. Make sure you listen to understand each group and write down what methods of persuasion they used and why it was that method. I will be checking this for credit in your writer’s notebook. Yes, you need to write in complete sentences. And, yes, you need to separate the two different group scenarios. It’s okay if you are listening to a group who has the same scenario as you, but find one other group who has a different scenario with you.
  4. Read for independent reading if time permits or study for the Vocabulary Quiz

Homework-
